BAYUGAO FALLS

Bayugao Falls is a three-layered waterfalls located in Brgy. Turod in Luna, Apayao, just a few kilometers away from the Poblacion. The waterfalls is composed of six cascades and three decks of natural pools rising about 12 meters from each other. A fallen tree trunk in the second pool adds an accidental but a distinct character to Bayugao Falls. The second pool is the most apt for swimming at 10-meters deep.

ROCK FORMATION

This is Dupag Rock formation located in Marag Valley, Luna, Apayao, Philippines. If you are just looking down its just like an ordinary rock but if you will see the aerial view its will amaze you on how it looks. Its like alien structure made or house of superman.Its very dangerous for not expert. The way going is not that easy, the place is very far and you need to cross the big flowing river where the normal water is until the knee and passed to a small forest then you can reach the foot of the rock formation. While climbing you will be needing a helmet because it might injured your head through the rocks. And the local government not allowing the tourist to go without a guide because you might lost.

LUSSOK CAVE

This cave and underground river system is in the town of Luna, the first town one will hit when traveling to Apayao from Cagayan Valley, the easiest access to this province. Thus, Luna town has become the de facto provincial capital. In fact, the government center has moved from the official capital town of Kabugao to Luna.On the rocky slope of Barangay Dagupan one will find this  this multi-chamber cave  with beautiful centuries-old stalactites and stalagmites, with crystals embedded. Thus Lussok is also called Lussok Crystal Caves.  The visit is via a boat without outriggers, on calm and placid waters from the opening of the river unto the end.

HIDDEN PARADISE

The Municipality of Pudtol officially opened its gateway to the heaven-like Hutungan River, well-known as Hidden Paradise, for the adventure and refreshment-cravinHutungan is an Isnag term which means ‘big rocks’ that best describe the place.Nestled at the foot of the mountain ranges and unpolluted river that flows from the watershed, this newly discovered tourist spot in Pudtol is a perfect destination for adventure-seekers and those who are looking for refreshment this summer.From Pudtol town proper, or about 406 kilometers north of Manila, tourists enjoy the 15-minute ride going to Hutungan Hidden Paradise with a farm view along the way.

MANACOTA UNDERGROUND RIVER

The Manacota Cave and Underground River in Marag, Luna, Apayao has amassed a horde of admirers as it boasts a scenic path to the entrance, crystal clear water, and a beautiful cave.A 20-minute hike upstream and you’ll reach this place of wonder. This cave hides numerous chambers of crystalline and untouched stalactites and stalagmites. This wonder is not yet fully explored.

Calanasan Philippine Eagle Sanctuary

The Philippine Eagle sanctuary in the virgin forest of Calanasan town in Apayao is being eyed to become a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Biodiversity and Protected Area.This to ensure that the virgin forests will remain preserved and protected to allow the eagle sanctuary to thrive and the Philippine Eagle population to multiply.Apayao boasts over 286,000 hectares of virgin forests that could stand for over 64 kilometers around the province.
